2009 Camry with 37500 miles on it had a coolant leak. They inspected the car and noticed the water pump was starting to go bad. There was a small leak at the pump. They did not do any work since they recommended I take the car to the dealer since the problem was covered under the warranty. I am simply amazed by the honesty.
Car (Toyota Camry 2009 with 37,500 miles) was missing coolant from the reservoir. They troubleshoot the problem to find out the water pump was starting to fail. Coolant was leaking out through the water pump seal. One thing that amazed me was they took their time to research and find out if this problem was still covered by Toyota warranty (Powertrain warranty = 5 years/60000 miles)…then they recommended I take the car to the local Toyota Dealer to have fixed this problem for free.
I am sure if it was somebody else, they would have replaced the water pump and charge me the full cost of parts are labor. Will definitely use this place again. I am simply amazed by the level of honesty and professionalism that was displayed to me today at this place. The truth is, I was under the impression that the Toyota Warranty only lasted 3 year/36000 miles and that the Powertrain Warranty only covered the Transmission components and the Engine BLOCK. But it is good to know that it does cover other Engine Components as well!
